Option

Visible body review: What really killed it for me that all the app do not allow to text to be selected in the app. This option, which really should be a standard, will help me create my own notecards for school. Because it lacks this basic option, this app is not useful to me.

Doesnt support multitask

Doesnt support split screen! The main reason I bought an iPad pro was to be able to multitask in class or while doing homework. Unfortunately this app and the muscle app were the two I most needed to multitask with...

2nd year medical student

Extremely disappointed with this app. A waste of 20 dollars in my opinion. I was very happy with Visual Body, so gave this a try. I am a second year medical student and needed a good anatomy app with a detailed ability to manipulate the skull and explore the various foramen and fissures. If you have any desire for detail this app isnt for you. They dont even break down major bones (sphenoid for example) into components unless you view that bone in isolation. Not much help when trying to see things like the pterygopalatine fossa and you want to remove the lateral pterygoid plate. too bad. this app would be great if you could manipulate each component of the cranial bones, or if it had regional views (a cranial nerve foramen highlight, for example, or infratemporal fossa). As it stands here, this app is a failure for anyone hoping to learn about the skull.

Not worth it (yet...?)

Im currently a 3rd-year undergraduate student studying human osteology, and I was very disappointed by this app. The artwork lacks detail, and looks almost cartoonish. The radial tuberosity only appears as a small, smooth bump, and features like the deltoid tuberosity, or the oblique lines of the scapula are almost invisible if labels are turned off. It also lacks certain important landmarks, like the radial sulcus on the humerus, or the suprameatal crest on the temporal bone. On top of all that, rotating individual bones is frustrating at best. The only thing I can say is, if the artwork improves, this would be a pretty good app! And I would feel better about losing $24...

Waste

I just spent $20 on this stupid app, and it crashes every time I try to open it!

Really good

This app is very good to visualize the skeletal structures and to study the different bones of the body individually, so I have found it really useful. Only flaw : some specific ligaments are missing, and it could have more videos to show the movements, as in Muscle Premium.

Love it!

For learning skeletal landmarks, this is the best.

Disappointed

I was hoping the landmarks would be better represented. Im hoping for a refund.

Overall good app, a few adjustments would make it great!

Exceptional graphics and movement. I really like how each bone is color coded to review specific areas. One thing that would take this app from good to great is the joint movement section. First get rid of the "joint" representation. It gets in the way of the anatomy. Take what you did in the muscle app, strip away the muscles and demonstrate the joints that way. That is what I was hoping was going to be in this. So if you are interested in anatomical movement the muscle app is a better purchase, if you are interested in landmarks this app fits the bill. As a teacher, I need both, hopefully I will get it in a single app one day soon.

The best anatomy app period.

It has everything and I mean EVERYTHING you can ask for. I have used Netters interactive 3D and this is by FAR better, it even has pronunciation. Thank you so much to the developers that made such an amazing app to make each medical student life much easier.

Excellent app!!!

This group of apps are outstanding The only thing missing is the ability to layer it. Otherwise truly useful, accurate and easy to use I would pay for a layering update if it were available. Incredible asset. GPR

An App for Med Students

This app and the "3D Muscular P.A." app have the level of detail needed for med and chiropractic students and, with their unrivaled level of interaction, they are a must have for students or for reference use by practicing doctors.... I am studying neurology so I am begging you... PLEASE VISIBLE BODY, MAKE AN APP DEDICATED TO THE NERVOUS SYSTEM!!! I know that nerves are integrated with this app and the "Atlas 2" apps, but I mean an app dedicated to neurology. This would obviously require the most level of time and detail in comparison to the other apps. That being said, I WOULD BE EXTREMELY HAPPY TO PAY $100 FOR A NEUROLOGY APP, AND I KNOW PLENTY OF FELLOW STUDENTS THAT AGREE!!! I mean, thats the price of a textbook anyway. I obviously do not mean the app you have out that is a section from the "Atlas 2" app. I mean at the level of this and the "3D Muscle P.A." app... PLEASE HOOK IT UP!!!!!!!

Yes! Universal!

Fantastic App for learning bone landmarks. Even better its in universal mode.

Top App for learning the Skeletal System!

This is amazing for learning bone landmarks. I use this all the time, and have to admit that I am a huge fan of all Visible Body Apps. Great job, looking forward to more updates.

A Slam Dunk

Intuitive, artful, informative, accurate, a really useful app for anyone needing in-depth information on the skeletal system. I highly recommend this app.

Wow. Stunning.

The amount of information this app contains, and the way it can be viewed and manipulated, is just awesome. The interactive maps of the landmarks are very very cool. Very useful in how the visuals are linked to the detailed information. Im a big fan. And thanks for putting it on my iPhone too.

Great app.

This is a great app. Period. Even nurses and doctors are amazed about how it works. Thank you for making this app.. Sam

WORTH EVERY PENNY

I was skeptical of paying $20 for an app, especially since others that were half the price were not worth it, however this app delivers everything I need AND more! It is beyond my expectations. I would have never aced my exams without it. This app not only has many views of every bone, but includes all landmarks as well, and quizzes!!! The ONLY thing I would have liked is to have quizzes in which you must answer the question yourself, not have the answer and then choose the area of bone. It is very important to spell every item correctly and this would have helped. Even with that, this is by far the BEST app ever!!!!

Incredible App!

For learning the landmarks on the bone there is no better app on the market! It is very intuitive and easy to use! Great Job!
