***** Medgadget calls the visuals in this app, “stunning, drool-inducing renderings.” (medgadget.com)

***** With Skeleton Premium, you can:
- Review the location of bony landmarks (in true 3D!) on any bone, from any angle or zoom level.
- Read a definition of each bone, or dive into the list that labels each bony landmark and provides information on the nerve and vasculature passage, or muscle attachments.
- Listen to the pronunciation of each bone and its landmarks.
- Take quizzes with over 500 questions.

***** How does the app work?
- Access hundreds of preset views. Easily add or remove structures. Rotate, zoom, hide, or fade structures to study bones and ligaments from any angle.
- Tap on a bone to learn more: get its name, definition, and pronunciation. Tap the explore mode to see a bone’s landmarks, labeled and explained in a rotating 3D model.
-Create your own saved views. Annotate images. Save them to your photo album or email them to your friends.
- Review synovial joint motions. Move between the 3D moving model and the preset views of the joint locations on the skeleton.
- Watch animations and review illustrations to learn or teach about cross-system anatomy and common pathologies.

About the anatomy content: Skeleton Premium is the most sophisticated and complete, true 3D model of the human skeleton available. The app includes the skeleton model from Visible Body Human Anatomy Atlas 2, as well as an additional skeleton model that details 800+ landmarks on bones throughout the skeleton. There are also 3D models of joints and bone tissue, and numerous illustrations and animations. The content was created by a team of medical illustration experts with decades of experience in biomedical visualization. These experts work in conjunction with a team of anatomy experts who review all visual representations of bones and the pronunciations and text entries that provide further information about each bone.

***** Works on:
- iPad 2 and above.
- iPhone 4 and above.
- Compatible with iOS 6 and above.

Option
Visible body review: What really killed it for me that all the app do not allow to text to be selected in the app. This option, which really should be a standard, will help me create my own notecards for school. Because it lacks this basic option, this app is not useful to me.
Doesnt support multitask
Doesnt support split screen! The main reason I bought an iPad pro was to be able to multitask in class or while doing homework. Unfortunately this app and the muscle app were the two I most needed to multitask with...
2nd year medical student
Extremely disappointed with this app. A waste of 20 dollars in my opinion. I was very happy with Visual Body, so gave this a try. I am a second year medical student and needed a good anatomy app with a detailed ability to manipulate the skull and explore the various foramen and fissures. If you have any desire for detail this app isnt for you. They dont even break down major bones (sphenoid for example) into components unless you view that bone in isolation. Not much help when trying to see things like the pterygopalatine fossa and you want to remove the lateral pterygoid plate. too bad. this app would be great if you could manipulate each component of the cranial bones, or if it had regional views (a cranial nerve foramen highlight, for example, or infratemporal fossa). As it stands here, this app is a failure for anyone hoping to learn about the skull.
Not worth it (yet...?)
Im currently a 3rd-year undergraduate student studying human osteology, and I was very disappointed by this app. The artwork lacks detail, and looks almost cartoonish. The radial tuberosity only appears as a small, smooth bump, and features like the deltoid tuberosity, or the oblique lines of the scapula are almost invisible if labels are turned off. It also lacks certain important landmarks, like the radial sulcus on the humerus, or the suprameatal crest on the temporal bone. On top of all that, rotating individual bones is frustrating at best. The only thing I can say is, if the artwork improves, this would be a pretty good app! And I would feel better about losing $24...
Waste
I just spent $20 on this stupid app, and it crashes every time I try to open it!
